The OnPoint Spotlight is an ongoing blog series that highlights our employees and celebrates the drive and personality of individuals on our team. It’s one way we show appreciation for their hard work and achievements while helping our community get to know the people who make things happen here at OnPoint.
This week’s employee spotlight is on Emilee Madzier, Teller Sr. at the Mill Plain Branch. I am a mom of three beautiful boys, Rylan, Aries, and my stepson, Drayson. In my spare time, I love to find the best taco trucks and go on fun adventure walks with my boys—nothing too crazy!
Here’s what Emilee had to share about her life and time at OnPoint:
What were you doing before joining OnPoint or taking on your current role?
Before joining OnPoint in 2022, I worked at Panda Express for a few years. It was a good job to get started at, but I knew I didn’t want to stay in the food industry for long. I got lucky enough to get a call from OnPoint, and it was the best career change I could have made.
OnPoint is a fantastic company for which to work! My Mill Plain team always makes it a joy to come to work. It makes life easier when you love your job since we do it for most of our lives!
What is your favorite season?
I am a summer person! SUNSHINE and hot weather all the way!
What is the one thing in this world that you are most proud of?
I am most proud of my family, which includes my boyfriend, Dre, and our sons, Drayson, Rylan, and Aries. They are amazing humans, and I am so blessed to call them mine!
Do you have a favorite board or card game?
Yes, I love a good old game of “SORRY.”
Have you (or would you) ever skydive?
I have been skydiving, and I loved it so much that I would do it again!! I am not the biggest fan of heights, so it was such a good feeling to beat that fear of mine and see what I was missing out on.
What do you enjoy most about working at OnPoint?
Working at OnPoint is fantastic because the people here are amazing. Employees AND members.
